‘Symposium of Women’

 

The Psykter is a vessel used by the ancient Greeks to cool their wine. This is a reproduction of the antiquity painted by Euphronios and is housed in St. Petersberg’s State Hermitage Museum.

 

Depicting a symposium of four women, which was very rare to see in ancient Greece.
