Black Figure circa 530 B.C.
‘ACHILLES FIGHTING PENTHESILEA’

 

This vessel was used by the ancient Greeks to store grains and liquids.
A scaled down reproduction of the antiquity attributed to Exekias and is housed in the
British Museum.
Depicted on side A, is Achilles fighting Penthesilea and on side B, Dionysos meeting his son Oinopeon.
